The monograph was prepared as part of the research project “Legal Analysis of Russia’s Activities in Ukraine Since 2014 in Terms of the Crime of Aggression, War Crimes and Genocide, as well as Legal Solutions in Ukraine’s Neighboring Countries Regarding the Status of Ukrainian Citizens.”
The aim of the “Iuridica” competition is to promote the highest-quality academic literature in the fields of law, security, and European integration. The event was organized by the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs in cooperation with numerous Ukrainian and international partners, including Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Institute of Criminal Law in Chișinău, and the Embassy of Lithuania in Ukraine.
Participation in—and receiving an award at—this prestigious competition is a great honor for our team and, at the same time, a confirmation of the importance of conducting in-depth legal analyses of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine in the context of international law and the possibilities of prosecuting perpetrators before international tribunals.
